Our essential training programs

Respond Safely Training offers American Red Cross certified courses, blending online flexibility with essential hands-on practice. Our programs are designed to meet regulatory requirements and empower you with life-saving skills.

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Learn to recognize and care for first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants.

2-year certification, OSHA compliant and meets workplace requirements. 

2 hour in person skills class following completion of online component.

Basic life support (BLS)

Designed for healthcare clinicians and first responders, focusing on high-quality CPR, AED use, and managing life-threatening emergencies.

2-year BLS certification.

2 hour in person skills class following completion of online learning component.

First Aid for Severe Trauma (Fast)

Preparing for bleeding emergencies; recognizing that a bleeding emergency exists; emergency action steps; deciding to act in an emergency.

Keeping yourself safe in an emergency; helping others to safety; violent situations.

Communication basics; communicating with others at the scene; communicating with the emergency dispatcher.

Using pressure to stop bleeding; applying direct pressure; using a tourniquet; after the bleeding stops.

Red Cross FAST certification card valid for two years.

1 hour in person class following completion of online learning component.

Primeros Auxilios/RCP/AED

Aprenda a reconocer y atender emergencias de primeros auxilios, respiración y cardíacas en adultos, niños y bebés.

Certificación de 2 años, conforme a OSHA y cumple con los requisitos del lugar de trabajo.

Clase práctica presencial de 2 horas tras completar el componente en línea.

This blended learning course covers critical first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants. It meets OSHA and regulatory requirements, issuing a 2-year digital certificate upon completion of online modules and in-person skills session. Essential for teachers, childcare providers, camp staff, and public safety personnel in New York State.

Basic life support (BLS)

Equipping healthcare clinicians and first responders with skills for cardiac arrest, high-quality CPR, and AED use. Designed for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital healthcare clinicians this training is consistent with the 2025 evidence-based science guidelines and covers additional life-threatening emergencies including respiratory arrest, drowning, opioid overdose, myocardial infarction, life-threatening bleeding, and obstructed airway in adults, children, and infants.  Required for nurses, doctors, paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, police, and health profession students in New York State.
